Alquibla Teatro presents MACBETH, by William Shakespeare, on Friday, January 26 at the Teatro Villa de Molina (25/01/2018)

Alquibla Teatro (Murcia) represents MACBETH, by William Shakespeare, directed by Antonio Saura, on Friday, January 26, at 9:00 pm, at the Villa de Molina Theater (at Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 10).

The price of admission is 10 euros.

Macbeth tells a story of crime and punishment mixed with witchcraft and supernatural elements.

Covered in the deceitful prophecies of the Fatidic Sisters, witches or goddesses of fate, Macbeth decides to assassinate his king and take the crown.

Aware of the horror to which he surrenders, he forges his terrible destiny and allows himself to be possessed by the evil that arises from the desire for power, believing himself invincible and eternal.

This tenebrous and disturbing work, of a vertiginous action, is also deeply introspective.

Through a metaphorical and sensory language, the densest figurative language of Shakespeare, supported by a whirlwind of images associated with darkness, death, cruelty and sterility, the work explores the forbidden, explores the transgression and offers the unique opportunity to share the inner life of a murderer, with its horror and its mystery.

The poetic and intellectual height of Macbeth does not hide or soften the concrete political situation of blood and violence, ambition and disloyalty in which the action unfolds.

The play is performed by actors Javier Mula, Esperanza Clares, Lola Martinez, Toñi Olmedo, Cristina Aniorte, Guerrero, Julio Navarro, Fernando Caride and Raúl Alarcón.
