A total of eight events are those that the Mental Health Association Molina plans to do to commemorate 20 years of work for the social and occupational integration of people with mental health problems.
The mayor of Molina de Segura Esther Clavero, the councilor of social welfare of Molina de Segura Ángel Navarro García, the president of Afesmo, Delia Topham and the vice president of Afesmo, Diego Yepes, were in charge of announcing the events that the Health Association Mental Molina y Comarca will take place during this 2018, on the occasion of this ephemeris.
The acts will begin on February 10 with a carnival parade.
On April 21 will come the 1st International Festival of Sports and Mental Health, framed within the Erasmus Plus program, the first European project awarded to Afesmo.
On May 5 there will be a concert to benefit Afesmo with the municipal orchestra of Molina de Segura that will have the collaboration of Los Viajeros del Soul and Batucada de Afesmo.
On June 29 we will organize our traditional potato festival in the Ribera de Molina.
After the summer, on September 14 and 15, we will celebrate the "Buñuelos 20 Anniversary" party.
October 9 is the date chosen for the official inauguration of the new Afesmo Day Center.
Finally, the program of acts of the 20th anniversary will close in November with the celebration of the 1st National Congress of Mental Health in the Museum of the Enclave of the Wall.

During these 20 years our association has worked for more than 3000 users with mental health problems getting pioneer services in our region how the service of "Sheltered Homes" and the "Service of Promotion of Personal Autonomy for people with Mental Health Problems" a space aimed at People with Mental Health Problems so that they can reach the maximum degree of autonomy and thus lead a fully normalized life within their own socio-community context.
