The Department of Mobility of the City of Molina de Segura begins this week to the execution of an initiative of interest for people with reduced mobility.

This is an awareness campaign that promotes respect for the prohibition of parking in places for people with reduced mobility, as well as pedestrian crossings, with a budget of 15,121.54 euros.

This campaign, with the slogan Ponte en mi lugar, not on my site, developed in many other Spanish city councils, tries to improve security and ensure the mobility of this group and its purpose is to protect these people, facilitating parking in your closest environment.

According to the Councilor for Mobility, Antonio López Vidal, "the aim is to show solidarity to citizens with actions aimed at controlling parking lots over pedestrian crossings and places reserved for people with reduced mobility in different points of Molina de Segura, prioritizing public buildings of great influx".

The messages to be transmitted deal, therefore, with two themes: the quoted Put yourself in my place, not on my site, which will be used in reserved places placing a sign next to the regulatory signal, reinforced with the horizontal signage of the reserved space and the motto inscribed inside;

and the other message, intended to raise awareness about the prohibition of parking on pedestrian crossings, will be installed next to the regulatory signal for pedestrian passage with a deterrent message so as not to park, hindering the passage.
