The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Social Welfare, has launched workshops for the introduction of new technologies, aimed at senior citizens of the municipality, and scheduled within the activities of revitalization of senior centers for this 2018. They will be taught in the social centers of the Barrio de San Roque and the districts of La Ribera, El Fenazar and El Llano, by a technician with a medium degree in Computer Science, and with experience in training with the elderly group.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, visits the Center for the Elderly of La Ribera TODAY Monday, February 19, at 4:30 pm, at the Social Center of the district from La Ribera de Molina, where one of the workshops will take place.
The workshops will be taught in 20 face-to-face sessions of 60 minutes, in the four mentioned social centers, during a quarter, with a basic level.
Each center will have 4 computers to develop the workshop.
According to the Councilor for Social Welfare, Angel Navarro, "with the rise of new technologies, the distancing of this sector with society seems even greater, which is why it is very important to emphasize that the implementation of new technologies in our society Current is important advantages for the elderly, who feel away from them. Computer science is a tool that will help them solve problems and improve their reading, entertainment, communication, information and see life.
The action has four objectives: training, information, communication and entertainment.

For the start-up of these workshops, the La Ribera Center has been equipped with four computers necessary for the development of the activity.
