The author from Extremadura will hold a meeting with the media at 12.30 in the Hotel Arco de San Juan de Murcia
The writer Luis Landero is the first guest of the Literary Encounter Cycle Writers in his ink 2018 of Molina de Segura, organized by the City of Molina de Segura, with the collaboration of the Caixa.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 22, at 8:00 pm, at the Salvador García Aguilar Library (at Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 44).
Previously, at 12.30, Landero will hold a meeting with the media at the Hotel Arco de San Juan (in Murcia), where he will be accompanied by the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and the Coordinator of the literary cycle, Lola Gracia.
LUIS LANDERO (Alburquerque, Badajoz, 1948)
Born into a rural family that emigrated to Madrid in the late 50s, he studied Hispanic Philology at the Complutense University to later be Professor of Literature at the Calderón de la Barca Institute;
from there happened nothing less than Yale University (1995).
The case of Landero is peculiar, since, not having a large number of published works, enjoys great prestige.
His first novel, Games of the late age (1989), was an event in the world of letters, turning his name into the fundamental Spanish fiction and obtaining the Prize of Criticism and the National Literature.
Critics say that he writes with a style full of precision and, at the same time, of verbal findings.
Other works include Caballeros de Fortuna (1994), El mágico aprendiz (1999), El guitarrista (2005) and Hoy, Júpiter (2007).
Manuel Vicent, Víctor del Árbol, Elia Barceló and Luis García Montero are the next guests to the Writers in their ink 2018.
