The Councilor for Agriculture of the Town Council of Molina de Segura, Antonio López Vidal, together with the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Francisco Jodar Alonso, visited the development of the last details of the work of conditioning the road CRS-27- 635, located in the hamlet of Campotéjar Alta.

The visit to this work, which is being carried out under the call for grants 2016 of the Autonomous Community for the preparation of rural roads, also had the presence of the Director General of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen María Sandoval Sánchez, members of the municipal corporation and technicians, both of the Molina de Segura City Council and of the regional administration.

The action consisted in the application of a tread layer based on triple surface treatment, using the old material as the base of the esplanade, in order to minimize the waste produced with the execution.

In addition this road has been equipped with ditches to channel the waters and protect, as far as possible, the road platform.

The action has also contemplated the installation of new vertical signage.

This work comes from the granting of a first call for grants made by the Directorate General of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture in which the City of Molina de Segura was selected, after having requested the repair of this road.

The Molistian Consistory has granted subsidies to act in two other ways within the framework of the second call made by the regional administration.

Currently this action is in the drafting phase of projects.

The Councilor for Agriculture, Antonio López Vidal, explained, after the visit that took place yesterday February 26, the result of these efforts that the City has been carrying out with other agencies, are achieved actions aimed at the conservation of communication channels rural area of ​​the municipality, "an important source of work for Molinenses," said Vidal.
