The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura has reported that the staff of the stand of Molina de Segura attended 977 people during the IV Regional Tourism Exhibition 2018 held in the city of Murcia between 2 to 6 April.
Regarding the origin of the national visitors, 4% of the total attended, those coming from Alicante, Cantabria, Balearic Islands, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​La Rioja, Tarragona and Zaragoza stand out.
Foreign visitors have also been present at the fair.
These visitors, who account for 2% of the total attended, come from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Norway, Poland and Ukraine.
Nor should we forget the regional visitors, 94% of the total attended, who have also been interested in receiving information from Molina de Segura and coming from Murcia, Archena, Alguazas, Alcantarilla, Calasparra, Cartagena, Ceutí, Lorca, Lorquí , Moratalla San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Yecla.
71% of the regional visitors came from Murcia capital, and 24% from Molina de Segura.
The average age of the visitors of the stand ranged from 30 to 60 years, being considerable the increase of the visitors under 30 years who have been interested in obtaining tourist information of the municipality.
The most requested information has been related to Free Guided Tours, followed by activities in nature, the map and the Souk of Guadalabiad.
The objective of the Tourism Office has been to promote Molina de Segura in tourism, emphasizing the museums that can be visited, including the MUDEM, cultural and environmental activities, Free Guided Tours, the Souk of Guadalabiad, programming of the Villa de Molina Theater and all those tourist resources available to the municipality.
Throughout the fair, Molina de Segura invited the attendees to participate in a raffle for 1 night at a hotel for 2 people at Hotel Villasegura;
1 golf course for two players (4 lessons) of short, long and putt at the Altorreal Golf Course;
4 double passes for the Villa de Molina Theater, a meal at the La Muralla Restaurant and an aperitif at the La Maita Restaurant.
In addition, for three days the bakery La Subirana has offered a tasting of their artisan breads.
According to the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, "the overall balance of our participation in the IV Regional Tourism Exhibition 2018 has been very positive, since, through this promotional action, we have been able to show the final customer what our attractions and the reason why it's worth visiting. "
