The Day Disability, Disability and Dependence, organized by the Association Retina Murcia (RETIMUR), in collaboration with the Department of Public Health of the City of Molina de Segura, takes place on Saturday April 14, from 11.00 to 13.00, in the Hall of Plenaries of the Molinense City Council.
The activity was presented at a press conference today, Wednesday, April 11, by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of RETIMUR, David Sánchez González, the Director of the Disability Assessment Unit of Instituto Murciano de Social Action (IMAS), Rafael Rodríguez Román.
It is a free day aimed at the entire population, framed within the Week of Health, Education and Sport.
The purpose of this activity is to help people with disabilities and their families to clarify what these three terms mean (disability, disability and dependency), what each of these surveys are for, how they are requested and what can benefit people affected by a disability.
The speakers of the day are:
Dependency: Dr. Ester Bódalo Lozano, Professor of the Department of Social Work and Social Services of the University of Murcia.
Disability: Rafael Rodríguez Román, Director of the Disability Assessment Unit of the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS).
Disability: Cristóbal Carrillo Fernández, labor lawyer.
