The Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez de Molina de Segura organizes two Master Class, Trumpet and Flute Travesera, during the month of April (13/04/2018)

The Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez de Molina de Segura organizes two Master Classes, one of Flute Travesera, on Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 of April, in the Auditorium Virginia Martínez Fernández (MUDEM), and Trumpet, from 19 to 22 of April, at the headquarters of the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López (in Calle Capitán Cortés, s / n).

The Master Class of Flute Travesera (17 and 19 April) will be taught by the transverse flute teacher of the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena, Mª José Castaño Murcia, directed to the students of the flute specialty.

The schedule is as follows: Tuesday, April 17, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm;

and Thursday, April 19, from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

María José Castaño Murcia was born in Alcoy (Alicante).

He began his flute studies at the age of five in Cartagena (Murcia), where he obtained the Professional Flute Degree.

In the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia obtains the Superior Title of Flute, granting him the Extraordinary End of Career Prize (2000).

After completing her studies in Spain, she is awarded a scholarship by the Séneca Foundation to study with Vicent Prats in Paris and with Jo Hagen at the Rotterdam Conservatory, where she finished the Dutch Professional Flute Diploma with the best results (2000-2002).

He then studied two years at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Emily Beynon (flute soloist of the Concertgebouworkest), where he perfected his solo, orchestral and chamber music training (2002-2004).

The Forum Foundation granted him a study grant to study at the Messiaen Academie in Arnhem with Vincent Cortvrint (piccolo soloist of the Concertgebouworkest) between 2004 and 2006.

He has expanded his flautistic and musical training by attending master classes and interpretation courses throughout Europe with great masters of the flute such as Emmanuel Pahud, Sophie Cherrier, William Bennett, Renate Greis, Juliette Hurel, Jaime Martin, etc.

He has played with orchestras such as the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Camerata de París, the Classical Orchestra of The Hague, etc.

From 2006 to 2008 he was flute soloist of the Orquestra do Norte (Portugal).

He has worked with directors such as Valery Gergiev, Laszo Heltay, Igor Dronov, etc.

Noteworthy is his role as flutist of the Quinteto de Viento Alborada and Quinteto Zéfiro, with which he has offered concerts in Spain and Portugal.

He is currently a member of the Xaloc Ensemble, which won the 1st prize in the DE LINK contest (Holland) for the best chamber group.

As a soloist he debuted by playing Mozart's Concerto en Sol Mayor with the International Orchestra of the San Javier Course under the baton of Cristóbal Soler.

He has recently premiered several works with the Galician Chamber Orchestra.

He obtains the 1st Prize in the V Contest of the Mediterranean Festival.

And he was awarded the GERDENLANDSE GRACHTENFESTIVAL CONCOURS (Amsterdam) prize.

She is currently a Transverse Flute teacher at the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.

The Master Class of Trumpet (from April 19 to 22) is aimed at students of the trumpet specialty, and will be taught by the French international trumpeter Pierre Badel, with the collaboration of assistant teachers Vicente Alberola, trumpet professor at the Professional Conservatory of Catarroja (Valencia), Rubén Zurdo, professor of trumpet of the Professional Conservatory of Torrevieja (Alicante) and Alberto López, professor of trumpet in the Conservatory of Music of Molina de Segura (Murcia).

The schedule is as follows: Thursday, April 19, from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm;

Friday, April 20, from 10:00 to 20:30;

Saturday, April 21, from 10:00 to 20:30;

and Sunday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pierre Badel was born in Saint-Étienne (France) on January 23, 1971. Student of Pierre Thibaud, Maurice André and Timofei Dokshizer, actively participates with prestigious symphony orchestras, such as the English Chamber (United Kingdom), Metropolitana de Lisboa (Portugal) , Opera of Munich (Germany), Paris (France) and Cologne (Germany), among many others.

In addition to having performed in numerous and important venues such as the Philharmonie in Berlin (Germany), the Theater of the Champs Elysees in Paris or the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou (China).

He is very requested for the teaching of master class all over the world.
