The works, which are currently under contract, consist of an internal jacket of the collector by means of a system of sleeves with polyester resin and ultraviolet curing.
Among others, 1,300 community owners of the more than 30,000 tahullas of Campo de Molina de Segura will benefit from these actions.
The Regional Government of the Popular Party will invest € 241,164.05 in the salinity control actions of the General Sanitation Collector of Molina de Segura.
The section of the collector to be rehabilitated, has a length of 517 meters and a diameter of 800mm.
The works, which are currently under contract, consist of an internal jacket of the collector by means of a system of sleeves with polyester resin and ultraviolet curing.
The rehabilitation systems with sleeves allow to manufacture a new tube within the existing conduction by ultraviolet polymerization, remaining in perfect conditions of use and improving the characteristics of the same.
It would be, therefore, to place a kind of covers in those expansion joints that, due to the rending of the ground, cause leaking saline water from the ravines in the collector, mixing with the wastewater that it transports to the Lagunas de Campotéjar with the consequent grievance that it entails for the treatment of waters that are reused by the Community of Irrigators of Campotéjar and the Gifts and distributed to more than 30,000 tahullas through the raft that the said Community has in the hamlet of El Fenazar.
