The Ministry of the Interior, through the Secretariat General of Prisons, and to celebrate the festival of La Merced, awarded the Silver Medal of Merit for his contribution Social Penitentiary in the task of social reintegration City Council Molina de Segura.

The prison administration celebrates the festival of La Merced with the aim of encouraging social awareness to the group of people who are deprived of freedom, the professionals who care for them and many civic organizations collaborate in the process of social reintegration are constitutionally mandated.
On November 16, 2009 saw the signing of a cooperation agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and the Secretariat General of Prisons of the Ministry of Interior to comply with terms of work on behalf of the community.

The positions offered are divided between: Graduates, high school graduates, FPII, FPI, Graduate School, and punished with no education.

Jobs for the Benefit of the Community are alternative sentences to imprisonment imposed by the judges in the case of minor offenses, especially violations of the Road Safety Act, such as speeding, driving without a license or driving with a high rate of alcohol.
For its part, the Ministry of Interior assumes the obligations to cover contingencies under the National Institute of Social Security for work accidents and occupational diseases of the prisoners, for the days of actual delivery of the work developed for the benefit of community.
In addition, the Secretariat General of Prisons assumed the management, coordination and monitoring of the sentence, through contacts with labor leaders.

Every working day is a maximum of eight hours.
