The Mayor of the town and vice president of the committee attended the opening ceremony at the College of Education Child Paseo Rosales
The Meeting of Directors and local entities promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and run for political office and technicians of local authorities, is held in Molina de Segura Thursday 21 October, from 10.00 to 14.00 pm in auditorium of the College of Education Child Paseo Rosales.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura and Vice Chairman of the Information Society and New Technologies FEMP, Eduardo Contreras Linares, accompanied by Victoria Gomez Alcazar, Councillor for Economy and Finance, Javier Gonzalo Muñoz, a member of the Commission on Information Society and New Technologies FEMP and Chueca Alejandro Barrios, a member of the Technical Unit of the FEMP.
Eduardo Contreras pointed out that "citizens have the right to a neutral and transparent administration, and implementation of eGovernment will help realize this right."
Furthermore, she added that "all municipalities, with the rest of government, we must go forward and work to facilitate public access to e-government, following the route marked by Law 11/2007 on Electronic Access of Citizens to Public Service, a law that went into effect on January 1, 2010 and which requires municipalities to deliver services to its citizens telematics. "
