Molina de Segura I celebrated the World Cuisine Gastronomic 15 to November 19 (10/11/2010)

The Gastronomic I KITCHENS OF THE WORLD, organized by the Association Gastronomic Restaurant Molina de Segura and Julian, in collaboration with the town of Molina de Segura, Oils Lorna, Teatro Villa de Molina, Heineken, TCH Hotel Villa Elena and are held 15 to 19 November, Julian Restaurant (Plaza de la Cerámica, No. 6, B).

MENU: Argentina

Starters: Assortment of pies creole

First Course: Triad of salads (beet and cheese, carrot and egg, and potatoes with herbs).

Main Course: soy and beef schnitzel stuffed with walnuts, blue cheese and celery.

Dessert: Flan de dulce de leche.

Drink: Infusion of frosted.

Price: 18 euros.

Throughout the week there will be wines from the Bodega Viña Elena de Jumilla, and with native speakers that will bring diners to their culture, traditions, environment and cuisine.

Among the participating chefs will be a contest with the following awards: first prize, a weekend in Asia Garden hotel with SPA, on loan from Heineken, second prize, a weekend in Jumilla with guided tour of the museum and winery Viña Elena and third prize, two tickets to the Teatro Villa de Molina, plus two dinners at Restaurant Julien Hotel TCH more night with a bottle of champagne.

For this competition, there will be a jury of experts in gastronomy, in charge of selecting the winners, and will announce its ruling on Friday 19 at 16.30.

All participating chefs will be presented with a bottle of Oil of Lorna, a case of wine Viña Elena, diploma and tasting dinner for two at Restaurant Julien.

For our international dishes, we decided to cook with extra virgin olive oil, specifically with the variety of olive Cuquillo typical of the region of Murcia.

As a result of cohesion between the native and international dishes to be tasted, Lorna oil contributes its extra virgin olive oils monovarietales this week of international cuisine.
