Neighborhood Association of the District Sacred Heart (AVESCO) Molina de Segura, on the occasion of the feast of Santa Cecilia 2010, patron saint of music, has scheduled a series of activities.
The events will take place from 20 to 27 November at the Centro Las Balsas (Calle Cartagena, near the Plaza of the taps).
The program of activities is as follows:
Saturday 20 November at 20:30, opening concert by the Banda Municipal de Música.
Monday 22 November at 20.30, lecture on history of the orchestra, by David Martínez Castillo, a violinist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and Professor Chaplin Academy of Music, and Virginia Martinez Fernandez, Director Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.
Organized in collaboration with the association BATON Virginia.
Tuesday 23 November at 20.30, representing the play The evolution of women through music.
Organized in collaboration with Women's Association Horizons.
Wednesday 24 November at 20.30, performance and poetry reading Song of Miguel Hernández (One Hundred Years of a Poet).
Organized in collaboration with the reading committee of the Neighborhood Association of Friendship of El Llano de Molina.
Thursday 25 November at 20:30, concert chamber music by the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez.
Friday 26 November at 20:30, concert AVESCO rondalla and choir, with new repertoire.
Saturday 20 November from 18.00 to 20.00 pm in the Senior Lounge, Dance of Santa Cecilia, and 20.30, closing with the screening of the film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
And throughout the week, from 20.00 to 22.00 hours exhibition to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the Coral Municipal Hims Mola.
