The candidates for mayor and municipal socialist spokesman, Antonio Gomariz, along with other councilors and councilors Socialists, has reported that 2 ½ years after winning the construction and operation of a residence for elderly dependents, and completed the delivery, not yet has put a single brick.

The residence should be open and operating, servicing and attending to 150 elderly dependents and 30 places for day care center.

Antonio Gomariz, not only have a "phantom residence, but have failed to create between 250 and 300 jobs in investment potential and 70 direct and 30 indirect jobs in the management of this service, we are talking about 350 jobs.

The PSOE 6 months ago demanded an urgent solution for this situation.

Neither is the City itself has claimed almost € 600,000 of the fee, but does not require the company to begin construction.

This is a very serious and flagrant breach of the contract.

But even worse is the silence and the obstruction shown by the city during these 2 years.

Antonio Gomariz calls for a commitment and a greater respect for the dependent elderly and their families, and deserve at least an explanation and a responsibility.

The PSOE considers a legal and a financial report for demarcating responsibilities and harms of this breach, described as very serious by the specification.

The Socialist Group considers it urgent to solve the very serious breach contract, because this situation can not be sustained any longer.

The City Council has lost a "golden opportunity" and the residence could be today finishing with funds from Plan E and the Law Unit, which has not been possible because the Mayor and the Councillor of Social Services have not been able to solve this breach much earlier.
