Unión Progreso y Democracia (UPyD) Molina de Segura requested to political groups represented in the city of Molina de Segura that foster the opening of a commission of inquiry to investigate the legality and transparency of actions taken by the Board for inheriting in the modernization of irrigation.
Considered insufficient UPyD all explanations given so far by the mayor, Eduardo Contreras, because he has never clarified the main complaints of the farmers, such as suspicions about economic management of the Board, the recovery of spill to irrigators without the approval of the General Assembly or the installation of drip irrigation in urban areas.
