The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows Molina de Segura received the Gold Medal of the City on the 25th anniversary of its re (23/11/2010)

The official ceremony of delivery of the Gold Medal of the City of Molina de Segura to the Illustrious Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Sorrows took place today Tuesday 23 November in the Meeting Room of City Hall.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, along with members of the Municipal Corporation and President of the Illustrious Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Sorrows, Juan López Riquelme.

This brotherhood celebrates in 2010 the 25 th anniversary of its revival.

It was the first Holy Week processions in molinense, after restoring it in 1986, which is why the Brotherhood is known as mother.

It is composed of about 400 brothers, dressed in purple robes and black.

The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows was founded in 1945 by the Brotherhood of Labrador City.
