The act of receipt of the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, participants in the Advanced Course Goat Production, developed at the Center for Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience Molina de Segura (CIFE), took place today Thursday 25 November in the Meeting Room of City Hall.
The ceremony also attended by the Director General of Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia, Falagan Adolfo Prieto, and the Director of CIFE Molina de Segura, Pedro Narrow Cano.
The course is held on the premises of CIFE from 15 to 26 November, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia and the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies of Zaragoza (CIHEAM).
This is a specialized international course, attended by 27 participants from the following countries: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Mexico, France, Sweden and Spain.
Goat production is the most progress has been achieved worldwide in recent years, given the interest of many countries in the dairy and meat and hair (hair, wool, mohair or cashmere).
Under the impetus of tourism, its application and importance is growing.
Despite this quantitative growth, its progress has gone hand in terms of scientific and technical knowledge.
Thus, the course aims to train and retrain specialists in goat production, and analyzing research and development experiences in each country and compare them.
