Reduce crimes and offenses and increase the clarification of the reported cases

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board Molina de Segura with the mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras, to analyze the current situation of public security in the municipality and the beginning of the procedures for joining the collaborative framework agreements on public safety and, in addition, which is already underway on the protection of victims of gender violence that left its mark between the Ministry of Interior and the City.

With regard to the provision of the National Commissioner of Police in this town, González Tovar has very much appreciated the efforts of the Government of Spain to increase troop.

At present, the Commissioner has 108 active agents and second activity and 10 police trainees, which has led to an increase of 96 percent, with respect to the allocation in 2004, in which this force was reduced to 55 effective.

Also, Molina de Segura and signed with the Ministry of Interior an agreement for the Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence, which is already underway, which is based on criteria of coordination to ensure the effective implementation of legal measures of protection victims of gender violence.
