The meeting New Perspectives on Parents education.
Grundtvig Learning Partnership, a European project for adult education and integrated into the continuing education program of the European Union, is held in Molina de Segura since Tuesday 30 November to Sunday 5 December, organized by the Educational Psychology Team Municipal Molina de Segura (EPM) and the Task educational psychologists (EOEP) of the Directorate General of Promotion, Management and Educational Innovation in the Region of Murcia, also based in Molina de Segura.
Professionals from five countries (Bulgaria, Spain, France, Italy and Turkey) have been received today Wednesday 1 December at the Plenary Hall of the City Council, Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Education, Mariola Martinez Robles.
The main objective of the Grundtvig Learning Partnership is conducting a joint project, integrating the experience of each institution in working with parents to develop new avenues of family-oriented, aimed at improving the skills and the involvement of parents in the education of their children.
The project runs from August 1, 2010 and July 31, 2012, to: collect work activities with parents that are developed at each institution and country, exchange and analyze the activities described in the previous objective ; jointly design a program of work with families, develop, each partner in your country, the program designed, to evaluate the experiences, and writing a Manual of Good Practice to include the experiences of working with families that have been evaluated positively.
The institutions participating in Molina de Segura meeting are: Team educational psychologists Molina de Segura (EOEP) Coop.
Soc Servizi L'Arcobaleno (Italy), World Educational Association (Bulgaria); Foyer Rural CEPAGE (France) and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Çayırova Okular Aile Birligi Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey).
The contents of the work plan of the meeting are: presentation and group creation, development of the project, presentation of experiences with parents to develop in each institution and country; panel discussion on experiences with other families outside the EOEP (Mental Health Center Infant / Juvenile, Municipal Services Center, College Teacher AMPA Francisco Martínez Bernal and Association for Parents of Children with Dyslexia) and the evaluation, conclusions and proposals of continuity.
