29 artisans will showcase their latest creations on the Paseo Rosales de Molina de Segura (10/12/2010)

The Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, accompanied by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, today introduced the Artisan's Day, to be held tomorrow, December 11, Paseo Rosales de Molina and in which 29 Regional artisans sell their products and will be shared with visitors their latest creations.

The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research in collaboration with the city of Molina de Segura, is part of the activities of the Plan to Promote Retail and offers the necessary infrastructure artisans to display and market their product offering.

The fair also provides an element of dynamism of small businesses in the historic center of town, because, said the general director, with her "we achieve the triple goal of promoting our crafts, the artisans offer their latest creations and entering direct contact with citizens. On the other hand, the great drawing power of such activities contribute to revitalize the historic old town and benefit the small businesses in the area. "

The opening hours of the exhibition will be from 11:00 to 14:30 and 16:30 to 20:30 and visitors will find a variety of handicrafts, bobbin lace, costumes and natural soaps to products food such as honey, cheese and pastries.

Also other professionals will share their creations of craftsmanship, as painters, artists, potters and craftsmen from recycled paper, among others.

III Fair Outlet

The director general of Commerce also presented today Outlet Fair III Molina de Segura, in which more than 40 shops in town offer a wide variety of items with discounts that can reach 70 percent of its original price.

This new Outlet Fair will be held from 15 to 19 December, also in the Paseo Rosales, and visitors can find articles of footwear, accessories, lingerie or underwear, also cosmetics, beauty products, furniture, furnishings and appliances or stationery, jewelry, among others.

The public opening hours of the booths will be from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 21:00 hours, Wednesday to Saturday.

Also open Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00.

This fair is an initiative of the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Directorate General of Commerce and Handicrafts, and is part of the action lines of the Plan to Promote Retail Region, whose main objective is to increase the competitiveness of local trade, boost sales and attract customers to traditional stores.
