Students and students of Public School Our Lady of Fatima Molina de Segura represent the Region of Murcia at the National Center of Physical Activity Promoters and Sport (08/04/2011)

Students from sixth grade of primary education and physical education teacher of the Public School Our Lady of Fatima Molina de Segura represent the Region of Murcia at the National Center of Physical Activity Promoters and Sport, which will in Sierra Nevada (Granada) from 10 to 13 April.

This meeting is convened and organized by the Higher Sports Council, in collaboration with the general directions of each region.

During the activity, the students, along with representatives from schools other regions of Spain, will carry out activities for beginners and recreational snow skiing, a variety of sports on the natural environment (hiking, biking, flying, etc.) and educational / cultural.

This meeting, and ensure the leisure and recreation sports for the students, enabling training and exchange of experiences for teachers.

The choice of CP Our Lady of Fatima by the General Directorate of Sports in the Region of Murcia has been as a reward for the excellent work being done in recent years in favor of school sport, which, besides get good results at regional level, is getting students to encourage, in the near future, citizens with a healthy lifestyle, as it encourages the practice of physical activity during leisure time, healthy eating and training values ​​for sports.

The center, established in addition to some courses for Healthy Menu, this academic year is implementing the Programme Physical / Sports Model based on Personal and Social Responsibility Hellison (MRPs), which focuses on giving more autonomy the students to increase their capacity in decision-making, and to transmit personal and social values ​​such as respect, self-esteem, effort, cooperation, helping others and healthy habits.

Both are inserted in the Annual General Physical Education Area in order to prevent obesity, in the case of healthy menu, and promoting human values ​​in students, in the case of MRPs.
