Atalaya Teatro (Andalusian) represents RICHARD III by William Shakespeare, on Saturday 29 October at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The ticket price is 12 euros.
Richard III was the first tragedy and one of Shakespeare's greatest hits from his debut (along with Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet) became one of his most representative works.
Shakespeare was based literally on a play written by Thomas More on the history of King Richard III, at the time of the English Civil War or War of the Roses, which pits the two most important families of the kingdom: the Lancaster and York, who fought for the absolute power of the government of England.
It is the chilling story of a real criminal, a psychopath who, to gain power, kills without remorse, their loved ones.
This is a work with extreme precision dissects ambition, lust for power, and how this desire can corrupt every fiber of the soul.
