The Eighth Award 2011 for Best Setenil Story Book Published in Spain will be presented on Tuesday, December 13 in the city of Molina de Segura (12/12/2011)

The award ceremony of the VII Setenil Award for Best Book of 2011 published accounts in Spain, organized by the city of Molina de Segura, will take place on Tuesday, December 13th at 20.00 am in the Plenary Hall of the City, with assistance from the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Director General for the Promotion of Culture and the Book of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Giménez Grace Award winner Setenil VIII, David Roas, Councillor for Culture, Mariola Martinez Robles, President of the Jury, Fernando Iwasaki, and promoter of the circle on Thursdays, Francisco Javier Abellán.

The winning writer, David Roas (Barcelona, ​​1965) is Professor of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Among his works include the novel bloody Celluloid (1996), the volume of daily horror stories and micro-stories (2007) and the book of humorous chronicles of a harpooner Meditations (2008).

Specialist in fantastic literature, has published several essays and anthologies on gender.
