The 80 students of the Escuela Taller Visitors Reception Centre and Employment Workshop Next Molina Molina de Segura have received their diplomas Monday (19/12/2011)

The closing ceremony and awarding of diplomas to students of the Workshop School Visitor Reception Centre and Employment Workshop Next Molina took place Monday December 19 in the auditorium of the Centro Las Balsas.

Attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Director of the Regional Employment and Training, Ginés Martínez González, Councillor for Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble, Director of the Workshop School, Julia Núñez Linares, and the Director Employment Workshop, Natalia Fernández Moratinos.

In each of the projects have involved training 40 students, so the number of students who have received their diploma is 80.

Workshop School Visitor Reception Centre has had 40 students from 16-25 years, for two years (December 14, 2009 to December 13, 2011), have received training and education through four workshops: masonry, woodwork, metalwork and plumbing / electricity.

The total budget of 1,372,592.41 euros was: 1,072,592.41 euros through a grant from the SEF, and the remaining 300,000 euros provided by the City.

The two main projects carried out this school workshop were: the Molina de Segura construction of a building intended for Visitor Reception Center, and the maintenance of public buildings.

The Visitor Reception Centre is located on a site acquired by the City between the streets and Honda Pensioner, solar which contains part of the Arab wall of S.

XII surrounding what is now the Castle District.

The project is meant to evoke the past visitors.

The building has a total area of ​​256.25 meters squares, recreate what once was the wall and power preservation and contemplation.

The workshop schools are mixed programs of employment and training, which aim to improve the employability of the unemployed under 25 years, in order to facilitate their employment.

The City of Molina de Segura has devoted much effort to combat youth unemployment, given that population levels where more unemployment is felt are those less educated segments of the population.

In this sense, apply different measures to promote employment, most notably Workshop School programs and employment workshops, which are subsidized by the SEF and financed by the European Social Fund and the City Council.

Regarding the Upcoming Employment Workshop Molina has also had the participation of 40 students, divided into four workshops: geriatric care for dependents in social, health and social care to people at home, basic operations, maintenance and energy alternatives (at 10 students per subject).

Its beneficiaries are unemployed, women and men from 25 years of age, who have been provided a comprehensive theoretical training and practice for 12 months.

The SEF has provided a grant of EUR 864,062.40 for this workshop employment.
