The new Park City School Workshop Molina de Segura give vocational training to 40 young unemployed qualified (28/12/2011)

The City of Molina de Segura and the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) have launched the new Park City School Workshop for vocational training of unemployed youth in the municipality, as reported by the Consistory Councillor molinense Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble.

In the school workshop involving 40 young unemployed people, aged between 16 and 25 years, which makes them qualified vocational training through four workshops: masonry, carpentry, plumbing / electrical and structural work (at of 10 students per subject).

They receive comprehensive training theory and practice for two years (December 20, 2011 to December 19, 2013).

The two main projects undertaken by this school workshop are: the adequacy of the pedestrian area of ​​the Park City area, and the maintenance of public buildings.

The total budget amounts to EUR 1,424,515.20.

The SEF provides a subsidy of EUR 1,124,515.20, while the City contributes 300,000 euros molinense.

Projects to be implemented:

Adequacy of Park City's pedestrian zone, comprising the Entremares streets, Mediterranean Sea and Ernesto Cardenal, as well as perimeter sidewalks along neighborhood streets and Dr. Ricardo Cano Mar Menor, and Granada Avenue.

The Park City area is formed by a set of pedestrian streets that serve the area and provide access to homes, farms and recreational areas of an estimated population of 3,000.

The works to be undertaken by the School workshop are flooring replacement, lighting and street furniture in the pedestrian zone.

With them will improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of that area: improving access to these areas, increase and improvement of recreational areas, subsistence and children's games, shattering the spaces that impede the visibility of the environment.

Also, these improvements will contribute to existing economic development, which so far is very visible and easily accessible.

Maintenance of public buildings such as schools, kindergartens and various departments of City Hall.
