The Athena Project, sponsored jointly by the Murcian Business and Professional Women of the Region of Murcia (OMEP) and the municipalities of Molina de Segura and Totana to support new entrepreneurs, has been presented at a press conference Monday January 30 at the headquarters of the CROEM in Murcia.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, President of OMEP, Manuela Marin Gomez and Employment Councillor, Sonia Carrillo Marble.
This is a pioneering experience in the Region of Murcia, which offers a mentoring service to new entrepreneurs.
The grant has been awarded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism to OMEP as coordinator and the project that channels the relations between the Ministry and the municipalities of Molina de Segura and Totana, as promoters of entrepreneurial support centers.
The budget amounts to 66,645 euros, and has a grant of 36,025 euros.
Participation in the project responds to the following ratio: 37% OMEP, 31% City of Molina de Segura and 31% City of Totana.
The same sources of funding are: 25% own financing, undertaken by the three participants in the proportion established through the cost and human resources needed for the project, and 75% external funding.
Through Project Athena is a process of professional and personal growth which will receive guidance and support on the part of senior business, which, providing expertise and experience, facilitate decision-making in the management of their daily activity and improved vision in the medium and long term.
As part of this work, the entrepreneurs will be workshops on self-knowledge that will deepen your profile as entrepreneurs in identifying their strengths and communication skills and the promotion of his audacity.
Can participate entrepreneurs whose businesses have less than three years old and entrepreneurs with available time and interest in sharing experience.
