The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, has been named Vice President of the Working Committee on Information Society and New Technologies of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) for the period 2012/2015, which commission and took part in the last legislature.
Tuesday January 31 in Madrid was held the constituent meeting of the committee, chaired by the Mayor of Lleida, Ángel Ros Domingo, and which addresses topics of current interest to the public, relating to Information Information and Communications.
Also carried out actions and partnerships with public and private, in all matters relating to this sector.
In this first meeting, a presentation of the different members of the Commission, the inner workings and proposed meeting schedule for 2012, reviewed the management report for the period 2008/2011, we studied the possible institutional actions to make mainly with the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and reviewed the existing agreements and arrangements between the FEMP and various associations and foundations as Cibervoluntarios, LOCALRET, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Redtel.
