The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura has called the XVII Literary Competition for Poetry and Short Story March 8 and XIII Painting Competition on March 8, pursuant to the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, with which aims to promote the active participation of women as interpreters of their own production.
The Literary Competition is aimed at women over 18 who were born or reside in the Region of Murcia, and tries to provide a gender perspective to the process of cultural production and participation.
Two methods have been established, POETRY AND SHORT STORY, and the theme of the compositions will be free.
The deadline for the work ends on March 30, 2012 at 14:00 am and shall be held in the Department of Equality, located in Building The Catch in Main Street, No. 81.
Referred the following prizes:
SHORT STORY: 1 st prize, 360 euro, 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3 rd prize, 220 euro.
POETRY: 1 st prize, 360 euro, 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3 rd prize, 220 euro.
In each category will be awarded two second prizes.
The jury will be announced in the bulletin board of the Department of Equality and the municipal website.
Meanwhile, in the thirteenth Painting Competition on March 8 female participants over 18 years, born or resident in Molina de Segura.
It has established the mode of drawing or painting, and the topic you must relate the works presented will be free.
The deadline for the work ends on March 9, 2012, at 14.00, and should be in the Department of Equality.
The awards covered are as follows: 1 st prize, 720 euro, 2 nd prize, 360 euro and 3 rd prize, 180 euro.
The jury will be announced on the notice board of the Department of Equality, may be declared void any of the prizes established.
As stated in the Contest rules, the Department of Equality and reserves the right to organize the exhibition and publication of works XIII participants and winners of painting contest.
