The Superior Fitted Guilds has awarded the distinction of the Year Nazareth Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares
The presentation of the official poster and program of events of Holy Week in Molina de Segura 2012 took place on Tuesday 21 February.
In it, also proceeded to the signing of the agreement between the City and the City Council molinense Guilds Higher Pasionarias the municipality, by which the municipality provides the amount of 19,000 euros for collaborative programming molinense Easter.
It also provides another 2,000 euros for the organization of the Cross of La Molina Torrealta.
Attended by the Councillor of Culture and Celebration, Mariola Martinez Robles, President of the City Council of Guilds Pasionarias Superior de Molina de Segura, Francisco Hernandez Vicente, the Counsellor of the Superior City Council of Fraternities and Pastor of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Jara Ramon Gil, and the presidents of the four brotherhoods of the municipality: Juan López Riquelme, the Illustrious Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Sorrows; Pujante Clemente Lopez of the Confraternity of the Holy Burial, Cánovas Francisco Zamora, of the Illustrious and Venerable ancient Confraternity of Our Lady of the Rosary and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Antonio Ruiz Garcia of the Brotherhood of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
The official poster for this year is a photograph of Raul Alarcon Ros, which reproduces the image of St. John the Evangelist, Vazquez Juncal, which parades on Easter Sunday.
Meanwhile, the magazine of Easter take on its cover image of the Holy Christ of Consuelo, that procession on Good Friday.
The Proclamation of Easter 2012 will be pronounced by the priest and writer Vicente Garcia Hernandez molinense (www.vicentegarciahernandez.es) on Saturday March 24.
After this event, and in the course of the Nazarene brotherhood dinner organized by the City Council, will present the award to Mayor Nazareno Year of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares.
This award was instituted last year 2011 by the City Council of Guilds Higher Pasionarias, and this time went to the priest molinense Chicano Julian Penaranda.
Moreover, on Sunday 18 March at 12.00 hours, the Brotherhood of the Resurrection will deliver their appointments in the Church of the Sacred Heart, while the Illustrious Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Sorrows will do the same on Saturday March 31, at 20.00 am in the Chapel of San Roque.
Easter molinense put in the streets of the town a total of 18 steps, and, according to the council, more than 2,500 brothers participating in it.
