The signing of the cooperation agreement between the City of Molina de Segura and the Bar Notarial Murcia to improve management of the Property Tax (IBI) and Tax Increment Value of Urban Land (IIVTNU ) took place on Tuesday 25 September, in the Press Room of City Hall.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Dean of the College of Notaries of Murcia, Carlos Fernandez Bermejo Simon, and the Councillor for Finance, Victoria Gomez Alcazar.
In the context of the Framework Agreement signed in 2009 between the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the General Council of Notaries (CGN), the City Council and the Bar molinense Notarial Murcia signed this agreement, which will allow notaries to consult IBI electronically debts so they can comply with the obligation to report IBI outstanding debts on a property that is to be transmitted, responding to art.
64.1 of the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Tax approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004 of 5 March 2004 (BOE number 59 of 03/09/2004).
As they put in place the appropriate applications, later apply other procedures, such as: support for self-assessment and payment of IIVTNU, improved data transmission to the City for the purposes of management and verification and IIVTNU IBI, and the effect of the settlement and IIVTNU check, etc.
These services are intended to give greater control to municipalities, facilitate efforts to taxpayers and provide a better service from the notaries.
A joint committee will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the agreement, and shall consist of two representatives appointed by the City Council and two by the Chamber of Notaries of Murcia.
The agreement has a term of one year from the date of signature and shall be automatically extended for periods of one year.
