Joaquín García Box presents his first novel The ninety-six in Molina de Segura on Wednesday October 24 (23/10/2012)

The presentation of the book The ninety-six, of Joaquin Garcia molinense Box, will take place on Wednesday October 24, at 20.00 am in the Plenary Hall of the City of Molina de Segura.

The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor for Culture, Mariola Martinez Robles, the author of the book, Joaquín García Box, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia, José María Jiménez Cano, that made the book launch.

The ninety-six is ​​the first novel by Joaquín García Box, architect and official in the area of ​​Planning of the City of Murcia, and has been linked to cultural activity for years, as an actor and theater director, and linked, also , the Theatre Festival Molina de Segura and local sports field (in recent years, is president of the Athletic Association molinense).

The novel has as its background the seven Mayan prophecies that put the end of the world on 21 December 2012.

The action takes place in the Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet, where he has held a rite that can change the destiny of humanity, but different historical and fictional avatars are triggering events that advance the story through unexpected twists.

Stories full of unexplained phenomena, supernatural and never before seen emerge from the pages of this book where the prophecies, beliefs, religion and mystery come together forming an amalgam that has to be human, and civilization as we know it know, like that first and last.
