A student of the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences (CIFE) from Molina de Segura has won the National Award for Higher Vocational Training Food Industry.
The award, Maria Monserrat Lopez, this morning attended a recognition ceremony held at the center.
The CEO of agribusiness and agricultural training, Lidón Angel Garcia, said that the award is "the result of the high level of education that students acquire four training integrated and Agricultural Experiences, two of which are considered reference centers national ".
According to head regional, the centers offer "an innovative training and quality, adapting supply to different regions of the region and implementing management systems and this has been proven."
Lidón Garcia stressed that "vocational training at these centers responds swiftly, flexibly and effectively to the skills needs of the food industry, which, in turn, must dynamically adapt to changes that are occurring."
In this regard he noted that Vocational Training "should act as a bridge between schools and enterprises, enhancing dual training".
The activity of the CIFE also covers the training of farmers and technical support training for employment.
In this sense, the CEO highlighted the importance of practical training, for which the centers have experimental farms, wineries, livestock buildings, mills and other resources, "which contributes to more than 90 percent of students formed in them find work. "
Lidón Garcia said the agribusiness sector in the region employs more than 45,000 workers (30 per cent of employment in the industrial sector), their sales exceed EUR 5,300 million and exports of 3,000 million euros.
