Public transport "auger enters" (22/01/2013)

The allocation of the region is the lowest for 5 years

The Socialist Municipal Group believes that the City of Molina de Segura takes too many years improvising on public transport, particularly in urban public transport, and the result is a pattern of improper transport and unresponsive to the needs of molinenses.

According to the Socialist spokesman, Antonio Gomariz, Molina de Segura should go for a public service efficient urban transport that meets the demands of molinenses and solve their needs, in many cases imperative to meet their education, work or health.

The PP has rejected numerous times the alternatives proposed by the Socialist Party, but neither the PP nor Contreras have been able to raise a public transport model that is responsive to those needs, especially education (university, language school, etc. ), health (hospitals and Arrixaca Morales Meseguer, Central El Carmen, etc.), protection and social services (centers dependency management, pensions, residential ...), and for other general public services (efforts in Traffic, Community Autonomous ...), and commercial services, business and leisure, all communications with the city of Murcia and the metropolitan area that are very poor.

The figures for recent years show that the government is not committed to public transport in Molina de Segura and as a result, the urban public transport is more expensive, less effective, very crowded at peak times and hard of isolation from Murcia and the metropolitan area at night.

Heading transport municipal budget is the lowest in recent years, at a cost of 11.5 euros per capita, while in 2012 (or 2009, for example) exceeded 16 euros per capita.

The autonomous region has increased from 175,000 euros to subsidize urban transport in 2012 to 10,000 in 2013, a fall of over 94%.

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration published in late 2012, the Fund for the financing of public transport, which allocated 9,710 euros to Molina de Segura, applied as payment to the budget of 2012, a decrease of 27.3% over 2011, let alone about 2010 that was nearly 200,000.
