The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, accompanied by First Deputy Mayor and Councillor of Institutional Relations, Adoration Molina Lopez, has been visited by the Sahrawi Delegate in Murcia, Labat Mohamed Mustafa, on Thursday January 24 , in the Office of Mayor.
The Sahrawi Officer has requested the support and solidarity of the City of Molina de Segura to international action in favor of the Saharawi political prisoners, during the trial that will be held on February 1 to 23 Sahrawi activists on remand in prison Salé (Rabat).
In that trial by a military court judge civilians, end, next to the permanent oppression Sahrawis living in the occupied territories, has been denounced by the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people of the region of Murcia and the League of Students and Youth Sahrawi Murcia.
Mayor Eduardo Contreras has announced that during the regular plenary session next Monday, will discuss and approve a joint motion of the Mayor and all local groups in support of this cause.
The Association of Friends of the Saharawi people of the Region of Murcia have called a rally in support of the Saharawi political prisoners to be held on Saturday 26 January, in the gardens outside the headquarters of the Government Delegation, at Avenida Lieutenant Flomesta.
