The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura has called the Literary Contest XVIII Poetry and Short Story March 8 and XIII Painting Competition 2013, in compliance with the Fourth Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, with which is to promote the active participation of women as interpreters of their own production.
The Literary Contest is aimed at women over 18, who were born or residing in the Region of Murcia, and tries to provide a gender perspective into the production process and cultural participation.
Two methods have been established, poetry and short story, and the theme of the compositions will be free.
The deadline for the work ends on March 25, 2013, at 14.00 hours and will be held in the Department of Equality, located in Building The Catch, in Calle Mayor, n ° 81.
It provides for the following prizes:
SHORT STORY: 1st prize, 360 euros, 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3rd prize 220 euros.
POETRY: 1st prize, 360 euros, 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3rd prize 220 euros.
In each category will be awarded two runners.
The jury's decision will be announced on the notice board of the Department of Equality and the municipal website.
Meanwhile, in the Painting Competition XIV 2013 may engage women and men over 18 years old, born or resident in Molina de Segura.
It has established the mode of drawing or painting, and the topic to be presented will relate the work: Women.
The deadline for the work ends on March 5, 2013, at 1400 hours, and should be in the Department of Equality.
The awards covered are as follows: 1st prize, 720 euros 2nd prize, 360 euros, and 3rd prize 180 euros.
The jury's decision will be announced on the notice board of the Department of Equality, may be declared void any of the prizes.
As stated in the contest rules, the Department of Equality and reserves the right to organize the exhibition and publication of the works participating and winning Painting Competition XIV.
