The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, in his capacity as Chairman of the Honorary Medical Studies Molina de Segura (FEM), Thursday signed a cooperation agreement with the Academy of Sciences of the Region of Murcia .
With the mayor, has signed an agreement Pablo Artal Soriano, president of the Academy of Sciences of the Region of Murcia.
The event was also attended by Professor José Antonio Lozano Teruel, a member of the Board of Trustees of FEM, Dr. Manuel Segovia Hernandez, director of FEM and Dr. Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, director of the Hospital de Molina.
The purpose of the collaboration between the two institutions, which will run every two years, is to promote joint activities with the participation of the Academy of Sciences and the same academic and logistical support for conducting FEM-called "Dialogues with academics."
Both institutions seek the promotion and popularization of science and medicine among the population and promote training of young researchers and scientists and support awareness of advances in medicine through informative talks and, thanks to this agreement collaboration, scholars of the Academy of Sciences of the Region of Murcia will actively participate in the activities offered by both entities.
