The exhibition Bread and bulls, the artist Molina Sanchez, organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, will open on Thursday, March 14, at 21.00, in the Exhibition Hall Garden (Calle Joaquin Abellán, No. 8, of Molina de Segura).
The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Culture, Mariola Martinez Robles.
The exhibition will remain open until April 13, and can be visited: in the mornings, Thursday and Friday from 11.00 to 13.00 hours, in the evenings, Tuesday through Saturday, 17:30 to 20:30, and Sunday and Monday, closed .
Garcia Carmona has a collection of sculptures of medium and large format, made especially for this exhibition.
A new material, light, rare in art, polyurethane foam, is chosen by the artist, who lives and works in Molina de Segura, to build the sculptures presented in this exhibition, which gives his works of a different texture and quality, high volume but ethereal.
Academic training and a strong track record that has built over the years with awards and numerous exhibitions of painting and sculpture, Carmona noted for its artistic fluidity, its remarkable expressiveness, and the alchemy of textures that played in watercolors, prints and sculptures.
