The Municipal PSOE Molina de Segura take the next plenary session of 25 March an initiative for the Government to withdraw the draft Rajoy local reform and that this is drafted with the agreement of all political forces for the importance of the changes involved in the operation of local government.
Far from seeking a consensus on a draft PP has developed that threatens the foundations of the municipal and the base model has ensured that social cohesion of our country for the past 30 years
With this reform, thousands of Mayors and councilors, elected democratically by their citizenship, will cease to be responsible when making decisions and managing their services.
This proposal endangers and more fragile our democracy, and it does so from a profound misunderstanding of the actual role of the municipalities, especially in social and economic situation like the present.
The Municipal PSOE request that the City Council of Molina de Segura reaffirm its commitment to local autonomy expressed in the Constitution and the role of local councils in equal opportunity, democracy and social cohesion and to withdraw by the Government of Spain on the draft bill for the rationalization and sustainability of local government, opening a negotiation process with all parliamentary groups, with FEMP and Spanish society for the reform of the laws governing the local world.
Gomariz Antonio Pastor believes that "the PP government must address the problems of real concern affecting the Spanish and not engage in populist reforms."
