The Health Week VII of Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Health of the City molinense, Murcia Health Service (SMS), the Hospital de Molina, and the township health centers, will be held from 15 to 21 April.
The program of activities has been presented at a press conference on Monday April 15, by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor for Health, José Antonio Carbonell Contreras, the Director of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, Health Center Coordinator Professor Jesús Marín Molina de Segura, Juan Francisco Menárguez Puche, and the Health Center Coordinator Antonio García García Molina de Segura, Emilio Perez Macanás.
The Health Week is an activity of health promotion where all the health resources, professional groups and associations of relevance in the town for seven days and give visibility to their important work among the public, conveying different messages with the common denominator of the importance of prevention and the development of healthy lifestyles.
The aim of this seventh edition is to promote the participation of citizens in all aspects of their health and health of the municipality.
The Town Hall Square will host Health Fair from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 April from 10.00 to 13.30 and from 18.00 to 21.00.
Booths will be installed 18 health centers and associations that perform various activities such as assessment of overall health, cholesterol, blood pressure, oral reviews, reviews of ear aches and massages surveys, PSA testing for prostate cancer prevention, informapacientes, nutritional advice, etc..
In addition, Caritas held collection of nonperishable food.
