The Department of Equality of Molina de Segura XVIII delivers Literary Contest Awards March 8 (17/04/2013)

The awards ceremony of the XVIII March 8 Literary Contest, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, took place on Tuesday April 16, in the Hall of City Hall.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Equality, Reme Lopez Paredes.

The Literary Contest is aimed at women over 18 years old, born or resident in the Region of Murcia, and tries to provide a gender perspective into the production process and cultural participation.

There were two modes, POETRY AND SHORT STORY, and the theme of the compositions was free.

The awards listed for each of the categories are as follows: 1st prize, 360 euros 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3rd prize, 220 euros.

In each category are given two runners.

And the awardees are:

SHORT STORY

1st Prize: The saleswoman, Elena Diaz Martinez.

2nd Prize: The flood of Maria Lopez Bathrooms.

3rd Prize: The autonomy of the inanimate, Concepcion Martinez Miralles.

1st Runner-up: The weeping angel from dustbins, María Jesús Escobedo Barrera.

2nd Runner-up: Something in common Amoros Laura Collado.

POETRY

1st Prize: Strength of reasoning, Benedito Inmaculada Muñoz.
