Juan Eslava Galán participates in the Writers in ink Cycle 2013 of Molina de Segura on Thursday, April 25 (24/04/2013)

The author jienense will meet with the media at 14.00 pm in the Bar San Nono of Murcia

The writer Juan Eslava Galán is the fourth guest of Writers Literary Lecture Series in ink 2013 of Molina de Segura, organized by the City of Molina de Segura, with the collaboration of the Caixa.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 25, at 20.00 pm in the Library Salvador García Aguilar (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 44).

Previously, at 14.00, Eslava Galán will meet with the media at Bar San Nono (at Calle Antonio, No. 28) of Murcia, which will be accompanied by the Councillor for Culture of the City of Molina de Segura, Mariola Martínez Robles, and the Coordinator of literary cycle, Lola Grace.

Eslava Galán Ecuador reaches its ink Writers in 2013 with a brand new recipe book under his arm, no nonsense entitled Kitchen (Planet) and the theatrical release of his first film as screenwriter, The Mule, based on his novel.

Biography

Juan Eslava Galán was born in Arjona (Jaén) in 1948.

He graduated in English from the University of Granada and a Ph.D. in Literature with a thesis on medieval history.

He continued his studies in the UK, where he lived in Bristol and Lichfield, and was a student and assistant professor at the University of Ashton (Birmingham).

On his return to Spain, won the competitions for English Department of Secondary Education and taught school for thirty years, a task which he combined with writing novels and essays on historical themes.

Has won the Planet (1987), Ateneo de Sevilla (1991), Fernando Lara (1998) and Andalusian Critics Award (1998).

His works have been translated into several European languages.
