The preacher of the festivity of Molina de Segura 2013 is Paco Lopez Mengual, as announced today, Friday July 12, the mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares.

Paco Lopez Mengual, mercer and writer, born in Molina de Segura in 1962 into a family of merchants.
After studying Teaching at the University of Murcia joined the family business.
Currently runs a haberdashery in his hometown, an activity that combines with his literary work.
It is a late author since there start writing until after the age of forty.
His first novel, The Memory of mud, was published in 2005.
Since then his literary activity has been very successful: The map of a crime (Maeva, 2009) and The Last Boat to America (Temas de Hoy, 2011).
He is also author of the slim volume of short stories The mansion of Mutants (2008) and the travel book Memories of Lisbon (2011).
His last novel, written with humor and bad milk, Cursed is titled Chinese.
After being rejected the manuscript of Chinese Cursed by various publishers (some of which even reached the original launch window as a defense), and after being called a thug, indecent and offensive, I finally got to see the released last June.
Also works as a literary columnist in the newspaper La Razon, Editanet digital magazine, on radio station Onda Regional de Murcia and the online newspaper The News Tribune.
A member of the Very Noble and Loyal Order of the Great Meteor of Molina de Segura, of the Literary Association of the Molineta and has been very active literary Molina de Segura as host of books by other writers and as a lecturer at schools the municipality.
