Environmental Impact Statement of the Secretary of State for the Environment, on the draft study and drafting solutions projects defensive works of the Ramblas in Molina de Segura (BOE No 172 of 19/07/2013 ), implied that the convening of the inaugural meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the defensive works of the streams of Molina de Segura, which will take place on Friday, August 2, at 12:00 pm in the City Hall Government.
Mayor explains Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, "the commission's objectives are kept informed citizens of the municipality on the project and monitor the works, as well as strengthen coordination with various government".
The ceremony was attended by Mayor incorporation of the town, the Councillor for the Environment and Urban, spokesmen of different local political groups, representatives of the residents of the different areas involved, municipal of Molina de Segura City Council and the Confederation Segura Basin.
"That statement is favorable environmental impact is very important because, first, we ensure that the project protects and cares for the Ramblas in Molina de Segura and on the other, allows to further progress in the execution of works very necessary to our city that will allow you to avoid the damage caused by the overflow of the Rambla del Chorrico as it passes through the city's urban core, "said the Mayor.
