The signing of the cooperation agreement between the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals (OMEP) and the City of Molina de Segura for the promotion of female entrepreneurship and decreased gender digital divide in the town of Molina de Segura has taken place Wednesday September 11, in the Press Room of City Hall.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, President of OMEP, Manuela Marín Gómez, Councillor for Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble, and the Councillor for Equality, Reme Lopez Paredes.
The purpose of the collaboration between the two entities is to promote the creation of companies led by women in the municipal level, and the development of training activities aimed at reducing the gender digital divide.
To achieve this goal, OMEP is committed to providing material resources, technical and human dependent on their organization, and perform the following actions:
Development of corporate motivational workshops to inform and advise those women entrepreneurs who choose self-employment as a way of entering the labor market.
Development of basic business training workshops for the implementation of an enterprise.
Development of training workshops on new technologies, especially social networking and use of new smartphones applied to the business world.
Report and disseminate the measures and actions that the City established for the promotion, creation and establishment of new businesses in the town of Molina de Segura.
Participation in round tables and other activities to develop the town for the promotion of female entrepreneurship that contribute to the enhancement of self-employment of women in the town of Molina de Segura.
For its part, the council molinense will:
OMEP Provide information to enable a better understanding of the economic situation of the municipality.
Performing actions that lead to the dissemination and publicity of this agreement.
Design of specific awareness raising campaigns to encourage female entrepreneurship in the town of Molina de Segura.
Facilitate local development activities.
Establish measures to support women to establish businesses in the municipality.
OMEP Collaborate with business associations promoting women entrepreneurs in the municipality.
The agreement has a term of one year and may be extended by mutual consent of the parties agree, prior to maturity, for the same period of time.
