From August 31 to September 16, Molina de Segura celebrates festivities in honor of Our Lady of Consolation.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, wanted to accompany yesterday in procession to Our Lady of Consolation with thousands of molinenses.
Before the procession took place, in the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, the celebration of the Eucharist presided by the Bishop, accompanied by a dozen priests who exercise their pastoral work in Molina or are children of the people .
Among the faithful was the mayor of Molina de Segura, D.
Eduardo Contreras, along with various members of his municipal corporation.
The bishop praised the Mother of God in the invocation of Consolation, "mother of the poor, the sick and the weak example of faith, availability and mercy for the people of Molina".
This afternoon at 19:30, Our Lady of Consolation concluding return to his hermitage and the festivals celebrated in his honor.
