The City of Molina de Segura has taken the celebration of the European Mobility Week, which this year was held in the town from 16 to 22 September, to organize activities to promote local commerce, which will take place on Thursday 19, Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September at Station Street, closed to traffic and pedestrianized during that week.
Station Street remains provisionally pedestrianized from Professor Street to Calle Joaquin Abellán Sculptor Gil Riquelme, and it will undertake the following activities organized by the departments of Commerce and Sports:
Thursday September 19:
18.00 to 20.00, painting and drawing contest, by Scribbles Academy (Veronica Capel).
19.00, karaoke contest (GUITT).
Friday September 20:
18.00 to 21.00, zumba, by Mibienestar Center.
SATURDAY September 21:
11.30 to 14.00, children's area with inflatables.
18.30 to 19.30, gymnastics, Grouping by Molinense.
18.30 to 20.30, children's area with inflatables.
Other interim measures adopted during this week were: urban transport free service, and 25% off the price of the municipality's public parking (Parking Company, The Milling Parking and Parking The Wall).
Within the permanent measures are presented a few days the draft cyclable streets, and placement of bicycle parking in different areas of the municipality.
The issue of European Mobility Week 2013 is Move for cleaner air!, Inviting citizens to reflect on the impact that transport has on urban air quality.
