The PSOE councilors and UPyD in Molina de Segura, Clavero and embodies Esther Hernandez, today denounced the lack of commitment of the mayor of Health molinense, José Antonio Carbonell, for their "outright rejection" to facilitate public resources needed to ensure improvement of the facilities of the local Animal Health ("currently very poor") and thereby ensure maximum animal welfare.
Both councilors have been planted and have abandoned today a meeting convened by the Department of Health, and which were present representatives of animal rights groups and volunteers, aimed at finding solutions to the management and resource needs of the former municipal pound, and to the health official statements that in any case the meeting was to discuss an increase of municipal resources to maintain these facilities.
On the contrary, he has done Carbonell, according to the councilors, "is civil society delegate all responsibility to find solutions," in any case, as expressed by the popular council, corresponded to the City, so the meeting as the councilors made no sense.
The Municipal Animal Health Center is currently managed by an animal protection, through a subcontractor, and the budget for maintenance is to PSOE and UPyD, "clearly insufficient."
The center has neither light nor water, nor with enough space to house all the animals that are collected from public roads.
To this are added the breaches by the municipality of various motions that for several years the opposition groups have come forward to improve the center.
Specifically, awareness campaigns are suing to stop the abandonment of animals and pet adoption program, and that the center have basic services such as potable water, sanitation and electricity, to the achievement of new facilities.
