Molina de Segura starts 5-10 HEALTH health program aimed at children s of the town (22/10/2013)

It is a joint initiative of the City molinense, the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, Molina's Hospital, School of Sport Sciences, University of Murcia and the FFIS Foundation and was presented at a press conference Tuesday October 22 in Murcia

5-10 Health Program Molina de Segura has been presented at a press conference Tuesday October 22, at the Pavilion Classroom Teaching I and Address of Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.

This is a voluntary program that is part of a scientific study sponsored by the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, in collaboration with the Municipality of Molina de Segura Molina's Hospital, School of Sport Sciences, University of Murcia and the Foundation for Health Research and Training in the Region of Murcia (FFIS).

The presentation ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Director General Healthcare Murcia Health Service, the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, Magina Blázquez Pedrero, the Director General of Planning Education and Care Diversity at the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment, Mary Begoña Moreno Iniesta, the Managing Director of the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, José Vicente Albaladejo Andreu, the Secretary of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, University of Murcia, Enrique Ortega Toro, the Managing Director of Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, and doctors Juan Madrid Conesa Bernal and Juan de Dios.

The 150 participating children will have a FREE exercise program, Mondays and Wednesdays, between 16.00 and 17.30 hours, in their own school or in a school very close.

This activity will take place from October 2013 until May 2014 and will be designed and taught by instructors of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, University of Murcia.

Each child / participant to perform a comprehensive study of health status including physical fitness tests, ultrasounds and blood parameters determinations.

All tests were conducted in the school itself, in school and with minimal discomfort.

Parents will receive a personal and confidential report on the state of health of their children, which may be important for future problems and prevent them.
