The City of Molina de Segura joins the Responsible Service Program to promote a leisure safe, healthy and quality (24/10/2013)

The new Program Manager Service, driven by the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs and the Spanish Federation of Hotel and Restaurant, and who has joined the City of Molina de Segura, was presented at a press conference on Thursday 24 October, in the consistory molinense.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Youth, Reme Lopez Paredes.

This program aims to address the need to establish a framework for action and collaboration between health administration and the hospitality industry aimed at promoting responsible recreation, safe, healthy and quality.

In this context, the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs and the Spanish Federation of Hotel and Restaurant have established a collaboration agreement has allowed the creation of Responsible Service as a program of drug prevention in leisure that has with the participation and involvement of the professional and business group catering and recreational sector.

As part of this collaboration agreement, we have developed the strategies and action areas of the program which is aimed primarily at ensuring the promotion and achievement of quality leisure by encouraging responsible alcohol dispensing on catering establishments, child protection, security and control of the facilities of public facilities, the ability of the local reaction to emergency situations and, in general, adequate service and attention to customers.

CODE OF PRACTICE

This code meets Decalogue as a simple and easy to understand the basic recommendations and tips to ensure proper customer service in public facilities and the provision of a safe and responsible:

The professionals of the hospitality industry must act in a professional and responsible.

The professionals and lounge bar should conduct responsible dispensing of alcohol.

The hoteliers and professionals should avoid selling, trafficking and use of illegal drugs in their establishments.

Hospitality companies assume and promote social engagement child protection complying with the regulations.

The address defined performance standards within their premises to promote leisure safe, healthy and quality.

The entrepreneurs and ensure adequate security conditions abroad and access to facilities.

The professionals of the sector and will promote measures to prevent customers and clients drive under the influence of alcohol and / or illegal drugs.

The local advertising campaigns are designed to promote responsible recreation, safe, healthy and quality.

The professionals should be trained to look at problems related to drugs.

The entrepreneurs and encourage establishments responsible for the implementation of measures to promote leisure safe, healthy and quality.

QUALITY LEISURE TOURS

The main objective of the Programme Responsible Service is to launch what has been called Quality Leisure circuits.

Participation in these entail the completion of a number of requirements in terms of training and qualifications, proper maintenance of facilities and compliance with a set of protocols by the employees of the establishments.

ELIGIBILITY

The hospitality company must comply with current regulations.

The hospitality company must sign and comply with everything that is stipulated in the Code of Best Practice Hotel and Catering Sector Professionals.

The company will have 30% of staff trained in quality entertainment and responsible service.

The gauging local than 1,000 people must have also a worker trained in first aid.

The company must be located in the sites and premises specially selected Circuit signage.

The company must inform and instill among its workers monitoring and compliance protocols in jobs.

TRAINING COURSE

Sessions: 3 (from 11.00 to 13.00 hours).

Total time: 6 hours.

2nd Session (Types of Drug Action Protocol for Emergencies): Monday 18 / Tuesday 19 November.

3rd Session (Creative and Healthy Cocktails): Monday 25 / Tuesday 26 November.

Material: documentation folder contents to be developed in the course.

End: at the end of this training course will be awarded: certificate; appropriate signage, and gift to attendees and / or local attached.
